Training
It is with some degree of sadness that I have said goodbye to the apprentices on cohort 3 o the Property Care Association SpecialistApprenticeship Scheme. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with. I have no doubt that we will meet again within the industry and I am sure many of the group will progress their careers and advance into a Surveying role within their respective companies.
It is inspiring to see how far these young people have progressed during their time with me at the Property Care Association practical training facility in Cambridgeshire. They have developed both their academic skills as well as their practical skills. The companies that employ them will reap the benefits for many years to come.
The feedback that the apprentices provided was hugely complimentary but in reality, it was such a pleasurable experience for them because of their own efforts and application. They and the previous cohorts must take all of the credit for making the Apprenticeship the success that it is proving to be.
It really has been as enjoyable for me as it has been for them individually and as a group. I am proud of what they have achieved and wish them every success in the future. I will not wish them good luck as they do not need it. They will achieve success through their hard work and their willingness to learn new skills and by expanding their technical knowledge.
Dealing with apprentices has got to rank as one of the most rewarding roles you can wish for.
